Job summary

Intermountain Health Saint Joseph's Hospital is seeking a Nurse Clinical Leader to provide leadership and clinical expertise during night shifts, guiding staff and ensuring safe, quality patient care. You will oversee staffing, precept new hires, and support unit KPIs within a dynamic hospital environment.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN with a plan to obtain it if not already held. Strong leadership and collaboration with the care team are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their BSN within four years of hire/promotion date.
• If there is an existing education agreement, that agreement will take precedence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise night-shift nursing staff, ensuring staffing aligns with patient acuity and unit KPIs.
• Coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary team and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support governance initiatives and competency development for staff.
• Mentor and precept new hires, conduct performance reviews, and manage staff issues.
• Oversee unit operations, manage resources, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
