Job summary

Burcham Hills is seeking compassionate RN or LPN nurses for night shift positions (7pm–7:30am) at our upscale East Lansing, MI campus. We offer Full Time and Part Time overnight and day shifts with competitive hourly rates and benefits.

RN pay ranges from $37.71 to $40.91 per hour, and LPN pay ranges from $32.71 to $35.41 per hour, including hero pay and shift differential. A sign-on bonus up to $6,000 is available and benefits start on the 31st day of employment.

Qualifications

• Valid, current nursing license (RN or LPN) for Michigan.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to work on-call and flex hours as necessary.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing assessments and provide medical treatments including medications.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other team members.
• Act on resident changes and document appropriately.
• Overnight and day shift coverage as part of full-time or part-time roles.

Burcham Hills is an upscale senior living retirement community located in the backyard of Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. We provide short-term rehab, long term care, assisted living, and independent senior care. We support seniors and their families through the journey of life.

We currently have openings for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work Full Time or Part Time overnight & day shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain a valid, current, and unencumbered nursing license (RN or LPN) for the State of Michigan.
• Clinical experience as a nurse, in an acute care, long term care, assisted living community or other related health care setting, preferred.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30-days.
• Ability to work on-call and extended or flexible hours, as necessary.
• Ability to make independent decisions within scope of practice when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to deal tactfully and communicate with team members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public with patience and a cheerful disposition. Ability to work in a multi-faceted role.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
