Job summary

Burcham Hills, an upscale senior living community in East Lansing, MI, is hiring RNs and LPNs for 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am). Full-time and part-time roles available, with day and overnight coverage.

RNs earn $33.71–$40.91 per hour and LPNs $28.71–$35.41 per hour, including hero pay and shift differential. A sign-on bonus up to $6,000 is offered, with benefits starting after 31 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Valid, current MI nursing license (RN or LPN).
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to work on-call and adjust hours as needed.
• English reading/writing and communication proficiency.

12 Hour Shifts - Full Time & Part Time Shifts Available

RNs: $33.71/hr. - $40.91/hr. (Includes: Years of Experience, Hero Pay ($1.71 per hour) and Shift Differential ($4.00 an hour for 3rd shift)

LPNs $28.71/hr. - $35.41/hr. (Includes: Years of Experience, Hero Pay ($1.71 per hour) and Shift Differential ($4.00 an hour for 3rd shift)

Who We Are:

Burcham Hills is an upscale senior living retirement community located in the backyard of Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. We provide short-term rehab, long term care, assisted living, and independent senior care. We support seniors and their families through the journey of life.

We currently have openings for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work Full Time or Part Time overnight & day shifts.

In this position the nurse will be responsible for performing routine nursing assessment, providing medical treatment including medications, acting on resident changes, and coordinate care with the physician. Full job description available.

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain a valid, current, and unencumbered nursing license (RN or LPN) for the State of Michigan.
• Clinical experience as a nurse, in an acute care, long term care, assisted living community or other related health care setting, preferred.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30-days.
• Ability to work on-call and extended or flexible hours, as necessary.
• Ability to make independent decisions within scope of practice when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to deal tactfully and communicate with team members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public with patience and a cheerful disposition. Ability to work in a multi-faceted role.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
