Job summary

Staffmark Drivers is hiring experienced Non-CDL Yard Hostlers / Yard Jockeys in Miami, FL. This seasonal opportunity offers competitive pay, weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and local yard work with no over-the-road driving.

We are seeking dependable, safety-focused professionals with recent yard hostling experience to support peak-season operations, providing opportunity for consistent hours and a solid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of verifiable yard hostling/yard jockey experience within the past 3 years.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is NOT required.
• No DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years.
• Ability to safely maneuver, couple, and uncouple trailers.
• Available to work the 12:00 AM–7:00 AM shift, including assigned weekdays or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard hostler/yard goat to move and position trailers throughout the facility.
• Shuttle trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and designated parking spaces.
• Safely couple and uncouple trailers, including connecting and disconnecting air lines.
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Follow yard safety procedures and dispatch instructions.
