Job summary

New Wave People is seeking a Data Center Operations – Operations Support Analyst for on-site duties in downtown Brooklyn. The role covers 24x7 monitoring, overnight and weekend shifts, and requires 5 days on-site with an initial 4–6 week training schedule from 8:00 to 16:00.

Responsibilities include monitoring hardware and software systems, opening tickets, assisting Sys Admins, running scripted jobs in Windows, Linux and AS/400, and tuning alarms to reduce nuisance alerts while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience in 24x7 operations and on-site facilities monitoring.
• Ability to communicate clearly by phone and email.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical systems (hardware and software) across multiple environments.
• Open and track tickets; assist System Administrators with resolutions.
• Run pre-written scripted jobs in Windows, Linux and AS/400.
• Configure and optimize alarms and alerts to reduce nuisance alarms.
• Support health monitoring of SQL and Oracle databases and hardware.
