Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in California. The role requires caring for neonates in a Level III/IV unit, including ventilated patients and high-risk deliveries.

You will work a night shift (19:00–07:30), with floating and weekend shifts as needed. Minimum 3 years NICU experience (2 years with strong skills) and active California RN license are required, along with BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years NICU experience; 2 years may be considered with a strong skill set.
• Experience in Level III or IV NICU, including high-risk deliveries.
• Required Certifications: AHA BLS, NRP, STABLE.
• Active California RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neonates, including those with respiratory distress syndrome and those requiring therapeutic hypothermia.
• Administer and manage ventilator support and oxygen delivery systems.
• Perform arterial line management, central line care, and phototherapy.
• Conduct feeding protocols including bottle, breast, and gavage feeding.
• Ensure effective thermoregulation and stabilization of patients.
