Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Level 4 NICU RN for night shifts at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Oregon. Requirements include a BSN, active OR RN license, and at least 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience. Certifications in BLS and NRP are required; PALS/STABLE preferred. Epic charting experience is necessary.

Responsibilities include providing family-centered care in a 46-bed NICU, collaborating with diverse pediatric specialists, and meeting night-shift and weekend rotation expectations.

Qualifications

• Active OR RN license (pending license accepted if application submitted).
• BSN required.
• Minimum 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP; preferred PALS, STABLE.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered care in a 46-bed Level 4 NICU for critically ill newborns.
• Care for neonates admitted from high-risk perinatal services and other transfers.
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple pediatric subspecialties.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30.
• Weekend rotation; no on-call requirements; floating within hospital.
