Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) at Jersey City Medical Center. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality NICU care in a state-of-the-art environment and contribute to continuous improvement in patient outcomes. The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, NRP, a BSN or enrollment in a BSN program, and at least 2 years of RN experience in acute care with NICU preferred.

Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• NRP Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or actively enrolled in BSN with expected completion date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to prepare them for next steps.
