Job summary

You will work within the WellStar Nursing Practice Model, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and Nurse Managers, taking a leadership role in staffing, rounds, and patient safety while modeling compassionate, evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the daily activities of the unit on the night shift to assure safe delivery of care.
• Acts as a caregiver with modified patient care assignment and participates in interdisciplinary team activities.
• Leads staff scheduling, unit patient flow, physician rounding, committee involvement, and survey readiness.
