Job summary

The RN Clinical Charge Nurse at Wellstar Health System leads the unit on assigned night shifts, directing daily activities to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities

• Rounds on every patient daily to evaluate care quality and outcomes.
• Oversee the Nursing Process and ensure evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate safe, patient-centered care with effective hand-offs and documentation.
• Lead staff schedules, unit flow, and support governance activities.
• Participate in performance improvement and hospital initiatives.
