Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• In lieu of one (1) year experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Collect data and perform nursing assessments using age-specific standards and tools.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with patient and family involvement.
• Update plans as patient condition changes and communicate with the team.
• Identify measurable goals and outcomes prior to discharge.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to care standards.
