The University of North Florida Board of Trustees seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for the 2300-0730 night shift. You will perform skilled multi-trade maintenance, repairs, and installations to keep campus facilities safe, reliable, and compliant with codes.

Qualifications

The Maintenance Mechanic performs skilled, multi-trade maintenance, repair, installation, inspection, and troubleshooting work in support of facilities.

Responsabilités

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and related systems.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions; determine corrective actions and communicate findings.
Install, replace, modify, and repair building components and system controls per codes and university requirements.
Complete work orders from assessment to closeout with proper documentation.
Operate tools, diagnostic equipment, and vehicles safely and effectively.
Respond to emergency maintenance needs to restore service and protect assets.
