Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician for the night shift. You will perform basic patient care under an RN, including EKGs, phlebotomy, and activities of daily living assistance. You will help keep rooms stocked and participate in ongoing training.

Education required is a high school diploma with the ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic. CPR and clinical competency are emphasized for successful hire or transfer.

Qualifications

• EKG knowledge and phlebotomy proficiency required or provided on hire.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic patient care tasks under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take blood glucose measurements and record I/O.
• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Perform EKGs and phlebotomy as trained.
• Keep patient rooms stocked and orderly.
• Attend in-services and team meetings.
