Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician for the night shift. Under the supervision of an RN, you will perform basic patient care activities and some phlebotomy/EKG tasks, while supporting a high standard of care and patient safety.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR on hire or within 60 days, and demonstrated health-related training. Prior patient care experience is preferred, with a strong teamwork mindset and commitment to the mission.

Qualifications

• High school level education; ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• EKG and Phlebotomy training on hire or transfer.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, perform basic patient care activities.
• Take blood glucose measurements and record intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Perform ordered EKGs and phlebotomy as trained.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and assist with in-services.
