Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to assist with basic patient care under an RN. You will perform tasks such as glucose checks, ADLs, and routine measurements, while supporting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include performing EKGs and Phlebotomy as trained, restocking patient areas, and attending required trainings. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy course upon hire or transfer.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take blood glucose measurements and record intake/output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Perform ordered EKGs and Phlebotomy duties per policy.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
