Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Part-time Multi-skilled Technician to work a 12-hour night shift under the supervision of an RN. You will perform basic patient care activities, monitor vitals, assist with daily living tasks, and help keep rooms stocked and orderly.

This role supports the organization’s mission with a focus on patient safety, quality care, and teamwork. Requirements include high school level education, ability to read and communicate in English, and CPR

Qualifications

• High school level education required.
• Ability to read, write, and spell English and perform simple arithmetic.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy course upon hire or transfer.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Take blood glucose measurements, monitor intake and output.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, eating.
• Perform EKGs and Phlebotomy per policy and training.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and participate in in-services.
