Job summary

MAC Incorporated's manufacturing plant in Waco, TX is seeking a Night Shift Multi-Craft Mechanic to work a 6pm-6am schedule on a 223 roster. This role requires skilled mechanical and electrical repairs, PLCs, VFDS, and 480V systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate maintenance logs in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience.
Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
Siemens S5/S7 PLC programming experience preferred.
Certified Electrician strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Diagnose electrical components including breakers, fuses, motors, sensors, switches, and motor starters.
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, industrial controls, proximity sensors, and related automation equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records.
Replace and align motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, sprockets, and pulleys.
Disassemble, repair, and rebuild pumps, valves, and related equipment.
