Job summary

MAC Incorporated is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for a night shift position in Waco, Texas. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, PLC-controlled, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will perform PM, maintenance logs, and support plant reliability throughout the shift. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, knowledgeable in Siemens PLCs, electrical systems, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience required.
Must be available to work certain weekends on a rotating schedule.
Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
Siemens S5/S7 PLC programming experience preferred.
Preventive Maintenance Program experience preferred.
Certified Electrician strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Diagnose electrical components including breakers, fuses, motors, sensors, switches, and motor starters.
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, industrial controls, proximity sensors, and related automation equipment.
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain maintenance records.
Replace and align motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, sprockets, and pulleys.
Disassemble, repair, and rebuild pumps, valves, and related equipment.
Perform conveyor belt splicing and repairs.
Perform metal fabrication and welding as needed.
Safely perform equipment rigging and movement.
Lubricate production machinery and plant support equipment.
Respond to maintenance calls and equipment breakdowns.
Coordinate repairs with Production, Shipping, and other departments.
Research and source replacement parts and materials.
Maintain daily maintenance logs and equipment documentation.
