Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery and automated production equipment. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation skills to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

You will troubleshoot and repair industrial production lines, perform preventive maintenance, and read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Strong PLC and automation troubleshooting experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, pumps, conveyors, CNC machinery, drives, and controllers.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Ability to independently diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs correctly the first time.
• PMMI, CAP, or similar industrial maintenance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production and automated equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, pumps, conveyors, CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs, drives, controllers, sensors, and automated systems.
• Assist with installation, setup, calibration, and startup of new machinery.
• Maintain facility and infrastructure equipment.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
• Identify repeat equipment failures and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate work orders, repair history, and spare-parts documentation.
• Support and mentor entry-level Maintenance Technicians.
• Work with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to improve equipment uptime and plant performance.
• Follow all machine, electrical, automation, and workplace safety requirements.
