Qualifications

• Relevant training or experience as a Millwright or maintenance mechanic.
• 2+ years of sawmill or similar production maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform repairs and preventive maintenance safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on bearings, shafts, conveyors, belts and drive components.
• Center machine troubleshooting and repair production equipment.
• Welding and cutting to repair or fabricate parts as needed.
• Repair, assemble and maintain sawmill equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.
• Perform maintenance following company policies and safety rules.
