Job summary

Stand-By Personnel is hiring multiple Welders for night-shift opportunities in Tulsa. Positions range from entry-level to experienced, focusing on MIG welding, structural steel, and fabrication in a fast-paced shop.

Night shifts are 12 hours, with overtime opportunities and potential for temp-to-hire employment. Candidates should be comfortable with hand and power tools, quality standards, and a four-day schedule Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Entry-level and experienced Welders encouraged to apply.
• MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Blueprint-reading experience helpful but not required for every position.
• Willingness to learn and develop additional welding skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components.
• Assist with structural steel fabrication.
• Prepare materials for welding.
• Position and align components.
• Perform tack welding as applicable.
• Assemble fabricated components.
• Use grinders and other power tools.
• Safely operate applicable hand tools.
• Follow drawings and production instructions as required.
• Inspect completed work for visible quality concerns.
• Maintain consistent weld quality.
• Assist experienced Welders and Fabricators as needed.
• Maintain established production standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
