Stand-By Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Welder for a night-shift steel fabrication role in Tulsa, OK.

The position offers an hourly rate of $27.00 (base $25.00 plus $2.00 night differential) and is a full-time opportunity with a competitive benefits package. The right candidate will weld structural steel components, read fabrication drawings, and operate MIG, Flux Core, or Stick welding processes in an industrial shop setting.

Qualifications

• Previous structural welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Experience with industrial welding equipment and fabrication tools.
• Ability to produce quality welds on structural steel components.
• Blueprint-reading and weld symbol interpretation preferred.
• Familiarity with measuring, fitting, and preparing metal materials.
• Ability to inspect completed welds for visible defects.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
• Availability to work the assigned night-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on steel components and fabricated assemblies according to production specifications. Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, measuring, positioning, and grinding metal components. Read and follow applicable fabrication drawings, work orders, and welding instructions. Operate welding equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency, and visible defects. Assist with fitting and assembling structural steel components as needed. Maintain established production and quality standards while completing assigned welding tasks. Keep work areas clean and organized while following all company safety procedures. Perform additional welding and fabrication responsibilities as assigned.
