Qualifications

• Basic MIG welding knowledge gained through welding school, training, or hands-on practice.
• Ability to complete a 1G T-joint weld test.
• Willingness to learn and participate in hands-on training.
• Ability to follow welding instructions and production procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies according to production instructions.
• Prepare materials for welding including cleaning and basic joint prep.
• Operate MIG welding equipment safely and maintain technique and quality.
• Complete root passes, fill passes, and cap welds as required.
• Inspect welds for defects and correct under supervision.
