Job summary

Staffmark is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for our Memphis, TN facility. The role offers a night shift (5:00 PM – 3:30 AM), 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts and overtime opportunities.

You will weld carbon steel and aluminum components for generator enclosures and read blueprints to ensure correct fabrication. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year MIG welding experience, reads drawings well, and can prepare materials, set up machines, and perform quality welds in horizontal and vertical

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience.
• Experience welding carbon steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with material layout, part preparation, and machine setup.
• Strong welding skills in horizontal and vertical positions.
• Stable work history with verifiable references.
• Current resume required.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel and aluminum components for generator enclosure manufacturing.
• Weld production-run and custom-fabricated parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Lay out, pull, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
• Complete horizontal and vertical welds while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with production requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
