Health Network Laboratories, LLC in Allentown, PA is seeking a Medical Technologist Trainee for Microbiology working Tue-Sat, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in clinical microbiology and specimen processing.

The trainee will perform tests per lab procedures, ensure quality control, maintain safety, and collaborate with staff while building foundational skills for medical technology certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a biological science required; Medical Technologist/Technician Students are encouraged.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with staff and supervisors.

Responsabilités

• Performs assigned tests under supervision following lab protocol.
• Ensures quality control requirements are met and test systems are in control.
• Maintains safe, sanitary lab areas and uses PPE as required.
• Works weekends/evenings/irregular hours as needed.
