Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in biological science is required.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and operating practices is required.
• Medical Technologist/Technician Students are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests under supervision and ensures quality control requirements are met.
• Ensures test systems are in control for each test.
• Follows laboratory protocol and schedules for testing procedures.
• Reports problems to supervisory personnel and assists investigations as needed.
• Maintains safe, sanitary laboratory areas and equipment.
• Adheres to all laboratory safety requirements including PPE.
