Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science.
• Lab experience preferred, but not required.
• Must possess excellent communication skills to interact with patients and health care team.
• Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and interpret results.
• Sufficient motor skills to perform delicate tasks and instrument maintenance.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Moderate and high complexity tests using a variety of laboratory techniques.
• Perform tests according to established procedures with accuracy and precision.
• Develop knowledge of instrumentation, procedures, and processes.
• Perform instrument maintenance with proper documentation.
• Assist overall laboratory operation per policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee inventory of reagents and quality control materials for assigned tests.
• Analyze patient specimens on instruments or manual methods within turnaround times.
• Identify problems with instrumentation, methodology, or samples and act per protocols.
