Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, part of Trinity Health, Hartford, CT, seeks an Automated Lab Team member to perform routine and complex analyses across multiple lab sections. You will impact patient diagnosis and outcomes while joining a dynamic, high-energy environment.

The role requires a BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology and MT-ASCP/MLT-ASCP certification (or eligibility). New grads welcome; 40 hours, day shift, with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology
• MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP certification, or eligible to take Certification exam and achieve certification within the first year
• New grads welcome
• Authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment visa for this position

Aufgaben

• Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
• Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures
• Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
