Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school, college, military program, employer, or equivalent training program.
• Upon hire: Washington MA Phlebotomist Certification --or-- Washington MA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients and offices.
• Assists laboratory technical staff, receiving/accessioning and/or processing specimens according to procedures.
• Follows departmental policies to ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.
