Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a qualified phlebotomist to represent the laboratory to patients, physicians, and offices, while assisting staff with receiving, accessioning and processing specimens in accordance with lab procedures.

The role requires completing a phlebotomy program and holding Washington MA Phlebotomist Certification or WA MA Certification upon hire, with preferred prior phlebotomy experience. Competitive benefits and comprehensive pay range included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through an accredited source.
• Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification or Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Represent the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients and offices.
• Assist laboratory technical staff with processing specimens.
• Receive/accession and/or process specimens following established procedures and safety standards.
