Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Metrology Process Technician for night shift to support Tokyo Electron America, Inc. and US customers with metrology equipment operations and process optimization.

You will perform tests, operate TEM and SEM/FIB tools, adjust parameters, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and maintain equipment, ensuring high-quality semiconductor processes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical aptitude with metrology equipment and process control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical records, charts and graphs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with hands-on experience in semiconductor processing.
• HS diploma or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and experiments for Process Engineering and setup metrology tools.
• Prepare records, charts, and graphs of test results.
• Operate metrology tools (TEM, Dual Beam, light microscopes, sputtering tools).
• Adjust hardware/software parameters to fix issues or run experiments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot process problems.
• Perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Write procedures and training materials.
