Job summary

Intel's Oregon Wafer Packaging Manufacturing group seeks a Metro Module Equipment Technician for the night shift to maintain and optimize semiconductor tooling. You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and document equipment performance while supporting ramp activities with engineering teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, attention to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirements and related experience as listed in the job posting.
• Experience with electronics/mechatronics, manufacturing tech, or related fields.
• Willingness to work night shifts and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in non-functioning equipment on the line.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and reassemble equipment per specs and drawings.
• Set up, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on tools.
• Monitor equipment performance data and classify defects for improvement.
• Create reports on failures and update specifications and docs.
• Coordinate service with suppliers and support engineering experiments.
• Assist with tool installation, conversion and ramp activities with cross-functional teams.

Education

High School diploma or GED + 4+ months experience

High School diploma or GED + technical certification

High School diploma or GED + 2+ years related experience

Associate degree in STEM related to semiconductors

Bachelor's degree in STEM related to semiconductor manufacturing

4+ years related hands-on equipment maintenance experience
