Job summary

Intel Foundry's Process Integration and Yield Technician – Metrology is a hands-on role in Hillsboro, OR. You will help identify defects, analyze process data, and support root-cause investigations to improve yield and production performance.

The ideal candidate brings electronics troubleshooting skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in STEM or 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with electronic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Windows, Outlook and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tool and process performance in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Identify defects and assist with yield-related investigations.
• Classify defects and support root-cause analysis.
• Review data and follow up on out-of-spec conditions to stabilize processes.
• Operate process and inspection equipment per SOPs and quality rules.
• Collect and document data to support process control and improvements.
• Troubleshoot process issues and escalate as needed for resolution.
• Support task readiness and consistent execution of assignments.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection and quality records.
