Endeavor Health Naperville is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the night shift in a part-time role (32 hours). You will assist with direct patient care under an RN, maintain a safe milieu, participate in treatment planning, and document according to procedures.

Night hours 11:00p-7:00a with rotating weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, activities of daily living support, vital signs, and potential EKGs, coordinating with the care team to ensure patient safety

Competenze

• Ability to demonstrate de-escalation and behavior management techniques.
• A valid driver’s license is required if off-site location duties are performed.
• If personal vehicle is used, maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law.

Mansioni

• Hygiene and personal needs support; deliver and remove meal trays; document dietary intake.
• Assist with activities of daily living; may assist with bathing and toileting.
• Carry out plan of care; follow infection control standards; assist with vitals and EKG if trained.
• Assist with admission, discharge, transfer; provide orientation and transport as needed.
• Perform Unit Specialist duties; ensure safety with one-to-one supervision; maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Communicate with RN; report changes in patient status; may transport patients in company vehicle.
