Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician in Naperville, IL for a part-time, day-shift role (7:00-3:30pm) with 20 hours per week. The position involves direct patient care for behavioral health patients under RN supervision, ensuring safety and a supportive milieu.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting dietary intake, participating in treatment planning, and maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate de-escalation and behavior management techniques.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and CPI certifications or ability to obtain CPI within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal needs; document intake and nutrition as required.
• Carry out plan of care and assist with procedures, vitals, and basic treatments as delegated by charge nurse.
• Transport and escort patients as needed and ensure a safe, therapeutic milieu.
• Communicate patient status with the nursing team and document changes in real time.
