Job summary

Endeavor Health's Mental Health Technician role in Naperville, IL, offers hands-on care under RN supervision for patients with behavioral health disorders. You will help maintain a therapeutic milieu, document care, and support treatment planning to ensure patient safety and well-being.

This part-time position (20 hours) includes day shift hours with rotating weekends/holidays, and a focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while adhering to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to de-escalate and manage behavior.
• Valid driver's license if off-site location; maintain auto liability coverage as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and remove meal trays; document dietary intake.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic care as supervised by nurse.
• Carry out care plans and follow infection control standards.
• Assist with specimen collection, vitals, and EKG as trained.
• Orient patients to room; transport patients as needed.
• Maintain therapeutic milieu and provide one-to-one supervision.
• Communicate patient status with RN; report changes promptly.
