Job summary

Nationwide-Children is seeking caregivers for night shift positions (11:00pm–7:30am) in Columbus, OH. Up to 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE) with every-other-weekend requirements, and 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE) with every-other-weekend requirements.

Positions are benefits eligible with a starting rate of $20.16/hour plus a night shift premium of $2.30/hour and an additional $1.80 on weekend shifts. Responsibilities include basic supportive and trauma-informed care under supervision, collaboration

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team and de-escalate in crisis situations.
• Experience in hospital mental health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates with interdisciplinary team in specialized patient care.
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and families and educates them.
• Provides trauma-informed care and maintains safety through de-escalation.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Serves as a resource to unit staff regarding diagnoses and crisis management.
