Job summary

Taymax Group, LP, a Planet Fitness franchisee in Sacramento, seeks a Member Services Representative to deliver a positive member experience at the front desk. You will greet members, process sign-ups, give tours, and handle payments while promoting the Judgement Free Zone culture.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health!
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member's expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including: Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members into the system, take tours for prospective members, and sign up new members with rate calculations.
• Assist the Club Manager in counting out the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to questions promptly.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, complete daily duties, and assist with cleaning projects as needed.
