Job summary

White Mountain Regional Medical Center is seeking a Charge Nurse (Medsurg) to provide clinical leadership and direct patient care on the MedSurg unit. You will partner with the CNO and nursing staff to uphold Nursing Behavioral Standards, coordinate care, and ensure patient-centered outcomes.

The role requires a BSN (preferred) and current Arizona RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 30 days. Night shift, full-time, with benefits; holidays and weekends work required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two or more years of experience as a MedSurg Nurse.
• Two or more years of experience as a Charge Nurse.
• Valid RN license in Arizona; BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead bedside shift report and use acuity tools to assign patients.
• Manage staffing, productivity, admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Attend IDTs, lead daily huddles, participate in disaster planning and conflict resolution.
• Ensure quality metrics are met and uphold WMRMC policies.
