Freeman Health is hiring a Night Shift Generalist for the laboratory, performing routine and specialized tests on blood and body fluids. You will adhere to strict quality control, operate instruments, and maintain accurate records while assisting in other lab areas to ensure patient care.

This full-time, overnight position requires critical thinking, time management, and teamwork. The role supports chemistry, hematology, UA, coagulation, blood bank, and basic microbiology tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates problem solving and time management abilities.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized tests on blood and body fluids with supervision.
• Maintains quality control and instrument maintenance per policies.
• Teaches new staff on laboratory policies and procedures.
• Collects urine drug screens and supports other lab areas as needed.
