Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group, LLC is seeking a certified Medical Technologist to join our night shift in Georgia. You will perform clinical laboratory testing under supervision, maintain equipment and records, and participate in quality assurance.

You will work with a team to analyze data, report results within turnaround times, and contribute to performance improvement and compliance with policies. Minimum education and licenses required; 1 year lab experience preferred; Epic/3M experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year laboratory experience (preferred).
• Computer/data entry experience required.
• Ability to communicate with various members of the healthcare team.
• Experience using Excel and Word; basic computer operations.
• Epic and 3M experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accuracy in patient, QA, proficiency, and competency testing.
• Maintains instrumentation for testing and reports lab data within turnaround times.
• Assists in QA failure investigations and trend analyses.
• Performs information monitoring, investigation, and hand-offs per procedures.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives and inspection readiness.
• Maintains knowledge of Wellstar policies and LIS; adheres to safety standards.
