Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Medical Technologist for the Columbia County Medical Center evening shift. You will perform clinical laboratory testing, maintain equipment, and ensure QA/competency while supporting patient care.

You will document results, analyze data, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Minimum 1 year lab experience, MT(ASCP) or equivalent, and proficiency with LIS/EPIC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Science required; Master's preferred.
• MT(ASCP) or equivalent certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year laboratory experience; ability to work independent and with QA programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report clinical laboratory tests per SOPs and QA standards.
• Maintain instrumentation and LIS data entries; document QA trends and investigations.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team; participate in process improvements.
