Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or related field, preferred.
• New York State Department of Education License - CLT or CLT, required
• ASCP Certification, preferred
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment: analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, alarms

Responsibilities

• Perform testing with moderate and high complexity.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a lab with biological/chemical hazards; champion safety and quality control
