Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• New York State Department of Education License - Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technician, required.
• ASCP Certification, preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (analyzers, centrifuges, pipettes, microscopes).

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing as part of patient care.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective actions are needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
