Sonic Healthcare USA in Hicksville, NY is seeking a Laboratory Technologist/Technician to perform moderate to high complexity testing, analyze results, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced lab. The role requires NY licensure and relevant education, with ASCP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or related field, preferred.
• New York State Department of Education License - CLT or CLT, required
• ASCP Certification, preferred
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment: analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, alarms

Location: Hicksville, NY

Days: Monday to Friday with Alternating Saturdays

Hours: 11:59pm-8:30am

PAY RATE: MT $38.00 to $54.00 per hour (depending on experience) and MLT $30.00 to $49.00 per hours (depending on experience)

In this role, you will:

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing
• Analyze, review, and report testing results

All you need is:

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or related degree, preferred
• New York State Department of Education License - Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technician, required
• ASCP Certification, preferred
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
