Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clause.
• *>Education will be verified; diploma and/or transcripts must be provided; foreign equivalency if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge pertaining to job duties and CLIA standards.
• Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies and maintain documentation and instrument calibrations.
• Perform proficiency testing in compliance with CLIA regulations and ensure proper record retention and reporting.
• Participate in continuing education and annual competency assessments.
