Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency and follows testing procedures per quality assurance guidelines for equipment and work area.
• Prepares reagents and maintains adequate supplies to reduce departmental waste and expense.
• Exercises clinical judgment in prioritizing tasks and troubleshooting test systems with appropriate departments.
• Ensures procedures and documentation meet accreditation and regulatory requirements (CAP, TJC, OSHA).
• Maintains clear real-time communications shift-to-shift with leadership regarding issues affecting patient care or operations.
• Participates in planning, staff meetings, and project initiatives to implement change.
• Engages in competency assessment programs where qualified.
