Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year Medical Technology program.
• ASCP MT certification is preferred.
• Three years of related clinical laboratory experience required.
• Must qualify as a General Supervisor under CLIA regulations for high‑complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Follows established protocols to perform tests of varying complexity and guides junior staff.
• Interprets test results with patient history to aid diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Troubleshoots testing process discrepancies and participates in method improvement.
• Assists in development of new tests and quality procedures for the lab.
• Ensures test results meet the laboratory quality control standards and safety policies.
• Maintains equipment, performs maintenance and supports roll‑out of new instrumentation.
