Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a clinical lab or medical technology field.
• Area of Study: chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory from an accredited institution.
• License/Certification as MT or MLS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Report accurate results and assess clinical significance.
• Ensure quality control and instrument maintenance within tolerance.
• Minimize errors and document corrections promptly.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines including proficiency testing.
• Troubleshoot equipment and assays when results are questionable.
• Mentor new staff as requested.
