Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs waived/POC, moderate, and high complexity CLIA testing as appropriate.
• Investigates and resolves problems with equipment, test results, specimens, and workflow.
• Performs quality control, proficiency testing, and monitors accuracy and precision of testing.
• Prepares reagents and assists in preparation of standard and control materials.
• Monitors reagent inventory and assists with supplies management.
• Reviews test results to ensure accurate reporting and timely corrections.
• Reports results and confers with healthcare providers as needed.
• Participates in team projects and in training new staff.
• Acts as a technical resource under supervision or independently.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
